My name is Eleazar. I was born in Mexico, grew up in Arizona and have lived in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood since 2007. Recently I became the guardian of my little Sister and am learning a great deal of life-lessons on our new adventure and will share some of those experiences on here, with you. Nothing too personal, just fun and/or anecdotal stuff.

When I am not spending time with my Sister or my friends, I volunteer as a board member for a local Latino LGBT health organization, Entre Hermanos. I also serve as Co Chair of the City of Seattle LGBT Commission which advises the Mayor and City Council on issues pertaining to the LGBT community in Seattle. Professionally I work for a public policy organization and love being involved in the political process through both my volunteer and professional work.

I used to blog a lot more when I was new in town and had more time on my hands. I am trying to get back on the wagon. If you want to see what all I have written about check out the archives. It always amazes me just how often I found time to blog. I will get back to that frequency some day.
